How to change the thumbnail of a video?

Make your video content more engaging at a glance by updating its thumbnail. Follow the steps below to easily customize the preview image for any video within your MemoryFox account.

Step 1: Access Your Content Library

Navigate to ‘Content’ in your MemoryFox account.

Step 2: Locate the Video

Hover over the video you'd like to edit. Click the three dots (⋯) icon in the upper corner of the video thumbnail.

Step 3: Select the Edit Option

You’ll see three options available, go ahead and click on ‘Edit’.

Step 4: Choose Your Thumbnail Frame

The video will open in edit mode. Play the video and pause it at the exact frame you'd like to use as the new thumbnail.

Step 5: Capture the Thumbnail

Click the ‘Capture for Video Thumbnail’ button. This freezes the current frame as your chosen thumbnail.

Step 6: Save Your Changes

Click ‘Save (Overwrite)’ to apply the new thumbnail. Refresh the page, and your updated thumbnail will appear.

Success! Your video now has a custom thumbnail that better represents its content.
