How to Filter Content in MemoryFox?

Written by Sharon Rajan

Finding the right piece of content doesn’t have to feel like searching for a needle in a haystack.

MemoryFox gives you flexible filtering options to help you quickly narrow down your content and find exactly what you’re looking for - whether you’re reviewing submissions, organizing your Story Bank, or looking for content from a specific contributor.

Step 1: Open the Content Section

From the left-hand toolbar, select Content.

Once you’re there, you’ll see the available filtering options at the top of the page, ready to help you narrow down your content.

Step 2: Choose Your Filters

MemoryFox gives you several ways to filter and sort your content. You can also combine multiple filters to narrow down your results.

You can filter your content by:

  • Campaigns & Campaign Prompts – View content submitted to a specific campaign or campaign prompt.

  • Status – Filter content by its status, such as Approved, Disapproved, Archived, and more.

  • Type – Filter by Photo, Video, Audio, or Text.

  • Date Range – View content created within a specific date range.

  • User Name – Find content submitted by a specific contributor.

  • Email – Find content using the contributor’s email address.

  • Creation Type – Filter based on how the content was added, such as Contributor or Upload.

  • Tags – Find content associated with specific tags.

  • Newest to Oldest – Sort your content starting with the most recently created content.

  • Number of Results – Choose how many pieces of content you’d like to display on the page.

💡 Helpful Tip

You can combine multiple filters to make your search more specific. For example, you could filter by a particular campaign, content type, and date range to quickly narrow down your results.

Step 3: Customize Your Filter Layout

Prefer your filters somewhere other than the top of the page? No problem!

MemoryFox lets you choose where your filter options appear. You can place them:

  • At the top of the page

  • In the left sidebar

  • In the right sidebar

You can also choose to hide the filter bar altogether when you don’t need it.

Why it’s useful:

Customizing the filter layout lets you set up your workspace in a way that feels most comfortable for you. Keep your filters easily accessible when you’re actively organizing content, or hide them when you want a cleaner view.

A Quick Tip for Finding Content Faster

When you’re working with a large library of content, try combining a few filters instead of scrolling through everything.

For example, if you’re looking for recently submitted videos from a particular campaign, use the Campaign, Type, and Date Range filters together.

A few clicks can save you a whole lot of scrolling!
