How to Approve Content in MemoryFox?

Written by Sharon Rajan

Before your stories, photos, or videos can appear in the Live Feed of a Story Page, they first need to be marked as Approved. This gives you complete control over what content is displayed, allowing you to review submissions before they're shared with your audience.

Follow the steps below to quickly approve content and make it available for your Story Pages.

Step 1: Open Your Content Page

From the left-hand navigation menu, click Content to view all of your uploaded stories, photos, and videos.

Step 2: Approve Your Content

Hover over the piece of content you'd like to approve and toggle its status from Disapproved to Approved.

That's it! Once approved, your content is ready to appear on any Story Page where it's being displayed.

How to Tell if Content Is Approved

It's easy to check the approval status at a glance.

  • A colored Approved toggle indicates the content is approved.

  • A Disapproved toggle indicates the content has not yet been approved.

  • You'll also see the current status displayed directly on the content card, making it easy to identify whether it's Approved or Disapproved.

Good to know: Approving content doesn't automatically publish it everywhere. It simply makes the content eligible to appear on your Story Pages, depending on how each Story Page is configured.
