Your best content often happens in the moment. Saving your MemoryFox Storytelling Hub to your phone’s home screen makes it easy to jump in and share a photo or video whenever there’s something worth capturing.
Once you add it, your Storytelling Hub will appear right alongside the other apps on your phone. Just tap the icon whenever you’re ready to contribute—no need to search through old emails or bookmark the link.
Here’s how to set it up.
On iPhone or iPad
1. Open your Storytelling Hub in Safari.
Use your MemoryFox Storytelling Hub link to open the page in Safari.
2. Tap the Share icon.
Look for the square with an arrow pointing up. Depending on your iOS version, you may see it at the bottom of your screen or near the address bar.
3. Choose “Add to Home Screen.”
You may need to scroll through the options to find it.
4. Name your shortcut and tap “Add.”
You can keep the suggested name or change it to something that makes sense to you.
That’s it! Your Storytelling Hub will now appear on your home screen. Tap the icon anytime you want to share content with your organization.
On Android

Use your MemoryFox Storytelling Hub link to open the page in Chrome.
2. Tap the menu icon.
Look for the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner.

The wording may vary slightly depending on your phone, but either option will give you quick access to your Storytelling Hub.
4. Follow the prompts to add it.
You may have the option to edit the name before adding it to your home screen.
Now your Storytelling Hub is only a tap away.
Why we recommend it
Your Storytelling Hub is designed to make contributing content simple. When you see a great moment—a program in action, a volunteer doing something special, a behind-the-scenes glimpse, or anything else that brings your organization’s work to life—you can open your Hub and share it while it’s fresh.
Saving the Hub to your home screen removes one more step between seeing the moment and sharing it.
And don’t worry: adding the icon doesn’t create a separate copy of MemoryFox or anything new you need to maintain. It’s simply an easy way to get back to your Storytelling Hub.
